Established COLUMBIA on 28 February 1982, as the pioneer for hire purchase business for consumer electronics & furniture.

Developed the first private label for electronic and computer in Indonesia (Fujitec).

Developed private label for furniture products (Fuji)

Entered infomercial industry by establishing Indonesia's first TV shopping network (DRTV).

Monetary crisis paralyzed the regional & domestic business and Columbia was forced to downsize by closing showrooms, greatly reduced number of employees into 4.900 people.

Employees increasing back to 9.500 level. Developed IT Mananagement system (ERP) with IBM (AS 400).
2003
Became the biggest fully owned retail chain store with 600 outlets throught Indonesia.
Established the biggest multi finance company for consumer electronic, furniture, telecommunication goods in terms of network coverage under name Sun Prima Finance.
2004
Columbia Quality Up nationwide program launched Implemented advanced financial ERP for multi-finance (Approva & Financore).
2005
Launched of private label NOZOMI motorcycle. Establish vehicle rental company - AUTO TRANS.
2006
Implemented Callisto - Oracle ERP for retail.
