Columbia as a company which grows among the community, understands that the organization must actively participate and position itself as an agent of change to improve social life.

Columbia Care are a chain of corporate actions to express our gratitude to the community covering many perspective such as social life, religion, education and ecology.

The purpose of COLUMBIA PEDULI (COLUMBIA CARE) are:

Help improve the standard of living and education of the community thru health care, education and technology improvement
Easing people's access in having new basic household items.

Being part of the Global society, Columbia and its management feel the need to contribute more to social welfare in order to increase the standard of living of the people by actively participating in the following programs/activities :

Assistance in the form of donations to Orphanage & old age homes.
Medical subsidization of up to Rp. 50 million for loyal customers, since September 2003.
Scholarship program for the children of loyal customers who perform well academically, since September 2003.
Partnership with Mandiri Bank (Indonesia's largest bank) in giving scholarship program through account transfer, hence encouraging people to open bank account for future saving responsibility, June 2006.
Routine Blood Donation programs from employees and invited customers in every branch.
Sponsorship for RCTI (Biggest Media TV Station) "Bedah Rumah" program in wich Columbia donates household products for needy people while their home were also being renovated, since 2005.
Sponsorship for RCTI (Biggest Media TV Station) "Bedah Kampung" program in which Columbia donates household products for needy people in a village where people are much in need for basic household products, June 2006.
Sponsorship for RCTI (Biggest Media TV Station) "Motor untuk Guruku" in which Columbia donates motorcycle to teachers whom are in need of transportation to help teach and develop children to one day become the nation's pride, June 2006.
Sponsorship for RCTI (Biggest Media TV Station) "Nikah Gratis" in which Columbia donates household products for needy married couples looking to set up new homes, June 2006.
Sponsorship for METRO TV "The Scholar II" in which Columbia donates laptop for needy but dilligent & intelligent students in order for them to persue their studies for future nation development, June 2007.
Sponsorship for LATIVI "KELUARGA DACIL 2007" in which Columbia donates the top prize for Free Pilgrimage to the Holy place Mecca for Umroh & electronic product, September 2007.
Routine Umroh Pilgrimage program for loyal customer since 2004.
Program "Tempatku Ibadahku" in which Columbia helps to rebuild/renovate 100 community mosque throughout the nation.
"Save The Turtle" in which Columbia broke the Indonesia record to setting free more than 1,000 Lekang turtles (Lepidochelys Olivacea) at Jembrana Beach in Bali, November 2007.
Joint program "Save The Nation" with the Anti Drugs Bureau (BNN) in providing anti dugs signboards throughout the nation.
Took part in "Aids Walk" day on December 2007 as part of a global Aids Day Program.
"Batik Day" in which employees Columbia using Batik every Friday is appreciation for art culture of Indonesia.

This form of programs and sponsorship are an everlasting chain of activities in which Columbia will actively participate in order to bring the upmost contribution to the society, nation and the world.
